Hi, I'm Sławek. I'm an amateur when it comes to survival and survivalism. I spend a lot of time walking in the mountains, and I don't have far to go: I live at the foot of the Owl Mountains (Góry Sowie) in south-west Poland, with beautiful forests, ridges and views worth getting up before dawn for.

Prepping has always interested me. For as long as I can remember I've been getting ready for World War III :) So far those preparations have mostly come in handy on the trail. On this blog, which I've been writing since 2020, I write about gear, about what to pack, and about what works in the field and what only looks good in photos. I haven't tested all the gear I write about myself.
